Under the Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat program that was conducted by CBSE, the students of Olympus High School from classes VI-VIII took a pledge of not using plastic items for food packaging and committed to bringing their own utensils if they wish to eat outside. They also vowed to spread awareness of the harmful effects of plastic and to take care of the environment by not disposing of plastic bags and items. The students also wrote an essay on the Topic, Bangalore- Garden City of India
