The Earth Day is celebrated around the world with a beautiful message -” Our continuing efforts in our everyday lives will make this beautiful planet thrive.” Earth Day is a proof that even one person can make a global impact in a positive way.

Pre – Primary Section of OLYMPUS HIGH celebrated 🌎 THE EARTH DAY 🌎 through a series of activities on 22 nd April , 2025.
A special assembly was conducted where the teachers guided the students about the importance of saving the Earth 🌍 and measures that can be adopted to save our planet like – Plant more trees🌳🌲🌴 , Save water 💦💧💦
Don’t use plastic bags 🛍 , Save electricity 💡🏮🔌 etc .
A range of events were organised to sensitize the students about the importance of conserving natural resources and motivate them to contribute towards protecting their environment.
Students were motivated to plant saplings and 🌿🌱🌾 and water them .They cleaned the garden of their campus by picking up the dried leaves . They fed the birds .They hugged the trees and promised to take care of them . They also performed various activities like bubble sheet painting activity, collage making and separation of waste activity.
They were also made aware about the importance of Solar Panels which are installed in the school campus.Students were thrilled to know that electricity 💡 is also generated by the Sun rays 🌞.
Lastly , students made a poster on Earth with dried leaves and green leaves. They imprinted their hand prints with a message – SAVE OUR EARTH 🌍
Our children are our future and we all need to do our bit to contribute to the environment positively , for that will be the one of the best contribution we will ever make for our children.
