The atmosphere at Olympus High was filled with excitement and reverence as the school celebrated its much-anticipated Founder’s Day, a day dedicated to honoring the vision and dedication of our beloved Founder and Managing Director, Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla.
The celebration began with a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially marking the start of the day’s festivities. A warm welcome was extended by presenting a beautiful bouquet to the Chief Guest, our Founder, Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla, as a gesture of respect and gratitude.
The program commenced with a heartfelt address by the Principal, Dr. Jyoti Gupta,setting the tone for the event by recalling the inspiring journey of the school and the incredible impact of our Founder’s vision.
The school band then set the stage alive with an energetic performance, followed by a melodious choir song by our talented students. The music teacher added to the charm of the morning with a soulful solo performance that captivated the audience.
In a touching display of love and appreciation, students from all levels—pre-primary, primary, middle, and senior sections—presented beautifully crafted greeting cards to the Founder, Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla. This was followed by a vibrant series of dance performances by students from each section, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm.
A special performance by the middle section students and their teachers highlighted the strong bond between staff and students and brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
The moment turned more special when our Managing Director, Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla himself took the stage and sang a heartfelt song, winning thunderous applause. He later addressed the gathering, sharing inspiring words, cherished memories, and his vision for the future.
As a symbol of joy and celebration, a cake-cutting ceremony was held, followed by a nostalgic PowerPoint presentation showcasing memorable photographs of the Managing Director through the years. The audience was also treated to a screening of a film produced and directed by our Managing Director Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla which has already won 40 awards,a touching tribute to his enduring legacy.
The event concluded with a warm and gracious vote of thanks by our respected Director of education Dr. Anuradha Pundeer Malla who expressed heartfelt appreciation to everyone who made the celebration a grand success.
