Olympus High hosted a two-day special program as part of the CBSE Sahodya Film Making and Presentation. This event was a perfect blend of creativity, innovation, and collaboration, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and skills.
On the first day, the program began with a warm welcome to the Managing Director, Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla, Director of Academics, Dr. Anuradha Pundeer Malla, and Principal, Dr. Jyoti Gupta. The program objectives and filming guidelines were shared to set the context, ensuring all participants were well-informed and prepared. Students then engaged in shooting, applying their creativity and skills to bring their ideas to life. A focused briefing on editing followed, guiding students on the technical aspects of creativity and skills to bring their ideas to life.
The second day began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by the school song. Each school then gave their presentations, turn-wise through the chit system. Scholars Home, Doon Scholars, The Horizon, The Indian Academy, Himjyoti, and Olympus High showcased their films, including BTS shots and speeches from two representatives of each school. A vibrant dance presentation by Olympus High students added color and enthusiasm to the program. This was followed by an inspiring address by the Managing Director, Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla, who encouraged students to pursue their passions and never give up on their dreams. Principal Dr. Jyoti Gupta expressed gratitude to all involved in making the program a success. The program concluded on a joyful note with the distribution of certificates to students, marking a memorable experience of learning, creativity, and collaboration.
The event was a grand success, providing students with opportunities to explore film-making and showcase the talent.
