To make learning fun and interactive, our KG students recently participated in a hands-on Empty and Full concept activity using colorful bindis. Each child was provided with a worksheet featuring two jars — one labeled empty and the other to be filled with bindis.
The little ones enthusiastically stuck bindis inside the jar outline, transforming it from empty to full. This engaging exercise not only helped them understand the basic math concepts of empty and full, but also improved their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and teamwork as they worked in pairs.
It was heartwarming to see the excitement and joy on their faces as they completed their colorful jars. Learning truly becomes meaningful when it’s playful!
