Olympus High celebrated the vibrant festival of spring with great enthusiasm by organizing a grand Basant Mela within the school campus on 14 February 2026. The event was formally inaugurated by the Managing Director, Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla, and the Director of Academics, Dr. Anuradha Pundeer Malla, whose gracious presence added dignity and significance to the occasion.
The inauguration ceremony commenced with a ribbon-cutting, marking the opening of the mela amidst a joyful and festive atmosphere. In their address, the dignitaries highlighted the importance of celebrating cultural traditions and fostering a spirit of togetherness within the community. They appreciated the efforts put into organizing such a lively and well-coordinated event.
The campus was beautifully adorned in bright yellow décor, reflecting the true essence of Basant. The mela featured a wide array of food stalls offering delicious delicacies and refreshing beverages. In addition, numerous game stalls added to the excitement, drawing active participation and creating an atmosphere filled with cheer and celebration.
The Basant Mela concluded on a vibrant and festive note, leaving everyone with delightful memories and a renewed sense of cultural celebration.
