The students of class 2 went for an educational trip to Union Bank.
The aim of this visit was to help students understand how a bank functions and its importance in our daily lives.
The students were warmly welcomed by the staff , who explained the various roles of a bank such as – Keeping the money safe , providing loans and encouraging savings through different accounts.
The students also learned about ATMs, cheques and digital banking.
The staff also demonstrated how deposits and withdrawals are made at different counters.The students were thrilled to see the lockers in the safe deposit room and observed how customers filled forms and how bank officers used computers for transaction.
Overall , the trip was highly informative and enjoyable .It provided students with enjoyable practical knowledge beyond the classrooms.
