XXVI Annual Athletic Meet and PT Display (Senior School)

The Olympus High family takes immense pride in announcing the grand success of its XXVI Annual Athletic Meet and PT Display, held on November 4th, 2025. The event was a spectacular celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence, as the school’s vibrant community came together to showcase their talents and skills.

The ceremony began with the dignified arrival of the esteemed Chief Guest, Col. Baljeet Singh, a paragon of valor and leadership, who was warmly welcomed by the Managing Director, Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla, Director of Academics, Dr. Anuradha Pundeer Malla, Principal, Dr. Jyoti Gupta, and the entire school fraternity.

The ceremonial hoisting of the school flag by Head Girl Aahana Malla and Head Boy Ojas Bharti marked the commencement of the event, setting the tone for a day filled with excitement, enthusiasm, and camaraderie.

The meticulously choreographed march-past by the prefectorial team was a testament to their discipline, precision, and leadership skills, with Yajur House emerging triumphant and claiming the coveted Best March Past Trophy.

The mass demonstration by students from classes VI and VIII was an awe-inspiring spectacle, showcasing their unity, coordination, and flair for performance. The senior school students mesmerized the audience with a captivating dance drill that celebrated the rich diversity of our nation, seamlessly blending tradition and modernity.

The karate demonstration was a thrilling display of self-discipline, focus, and skill, while the yoga display underscored the importance of physical and mental well-being.

The athletic events were a true celebration of sportsmanship and teamwork, with students participating in a range of events, including obstacle races, cycle races, and shuttle relays. The parents’ participation in a fun-filled race added a delightful touch to the event, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie between the school and the families.

The pièce de résistance of the event was the tug-of-war competition, where Yajur House emerged victorious against Saam House, demonstrating their unwavering teamwork and determination.

Paras Kohli was adjudged the Best Athlete, winning three gold medals in the 400-meter sprint, 100-meter sprint, and long jump events.

The prize distribution ceremony was a grand affair, with winners being felicitated for their outstanding performances. Atharva House was awarded the Decoration Trophy, while Rig House was declared the overall winner, claiming the coveted house trophy.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Managing Director Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla and an inspiring address by Chief Guest Col. Baljeet Singh, who lauded the students, teachers, and staff for their tireless efforts and dedication to excellence.
