The students, staff and the management of Olympus High came together to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Dussehra with much gaiety and alacrity within the school premises.
The festival commemorates Lord Rama’s triumph over Ravana, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. It serves as a powerful reminder of moral values and epitomizes that no matter how powerful evil may seem, righteousness and truth will always win in the end .
In a thought-provoking activity, children wrote down their bad habits on a piece of paper and placed them into the effigy of Ravana, pledging to abandon negative habits and follow the path of righteousness. The key highlight of the celebration was the ignition of Ravana’s effigy by our Managing Director, Dr. Kunal Shamsher Malla, marking the triumph of positivity over negativity.
This meaningful celebration instilled valuable life lessons in our students, inspiring them to embody the spirit of Dussehra.
