Recently, Olympus High hosted it’s Annual Inter-House Football Tournament within the school premises, bringing students together in a week of action-packed competition. The Managing Director, Dr. Kunal Shamshere Malla kicked-off the match by kicking the soccer ball, setting the tone for a thrilling competition.
The much-anticipated final match was a showdown between Yajur House and Rig House. The electrifying atmosphere in the field was matched by the energy of the players, who exhibited extraordinary skill and resilience. Each team played with immense zeal, making every moment a thrilling experience. After executing a series of strategic plays that left the audience in awe, Yajur House emerged as the ultimate champion with an impressive 02 goals with an impressive 02 goals during penalty shootout.
The tournament also celebrated individual excellence. Shaurya Negi of grade XI earned the title of ‘Man of the Tournament’ for his unmatched performance and consistent contribution to the game.
The Managing Director presented the trophy to the jubilant Yajur House team and commended both the teams for their dedication and sportsmanship. He also emphasized the importance of sports in developing key life skills such as resilience, teamwork and leadership.
