Today, the Playgroup and Nursery children participated in a shape recognition and matching activity.

Firstly, the children were introduced to the circle 🔵, triangle 🔺, square ⬛, and rectangle shapes. Then, all the shapes were drawn on the blackboard, and the children helped in finding objects related to each shape.

After that, all the shape-related objects were arranged on the table. The children were told that when asked, “Which one is a circle?” they had to pick up the related object and match it with the shape on the blackboard.

This activity helped the children gain clarity about shapes, and it was also a fun activity. All the children were involved, participated very well, and enjoyed it a lot.
