The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with pride and reverence on 25th January 2025 within the school premises of Olympus High. The momentous occasion was imbued with a deep sense of patriotism as the students joyfully performed various songs like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jay’ and ‘Halla’. It was then followed by a soulful rendition of songs like ‘Phagunero’ – a Bengali song and ‘Tiranga’ in their euphonious voices.
A key highlight of the programme was the singing of a patriotic song ‘Jahan daal daal par Sone ki chidiya’ sung by our Managing Director, Dr Kunal Shamshere Malla which stirred strong feelings of nationalism. Later, the Principal Dr. Anuradha Pundeer Malla addressed the students and reminded them of the importance of the Indian Constitution and upholding and protecting its values.
The students of Pthe re-Primary section participated in a series of engaging activities like Tricolour Sandwich Making, Salad Making, Tricolour Finger Dabbing and Tricolour Leaf Impression with a lot of enthusiasm. The students of the Primary section also actively participated with much gaiety and alacrity in various competitions like Card Making, Face Mask, Tricolour Flower Bunch, Tricolour Cooking Without Fire, Face Painting and Paper Rangoli. The students of the Middle section also participated with full zeal and zest in making Greeting Cards, Rangoli Making, Tattoo Making, Mehndi Applying, Shoes Painting and Collage Making.
The National Flag was unfurled by the Managing Director Dr Kunal Shamshere Malla followed by the singing of the National Anthem inthe presence of the Principal, Dr Anuradha Pundeer Malla and the school staff on 26th January 2025 within the school premises.
