With pride in our heart and dignity in our eyes, we salute all the people who laid down their lives for our Independence.

The celebration of the 75th Independence Day was held in a mesmerizing way within the campus of Olympus High School today. The Principal Dr Anuradha Pundeer Malla, Managing Director Dr Kunal Shamshere Malla along with the teachers and school staff celebrated the special day enthusiastically.

The day commenced with the flag hoisting by the Managing Director. This was followed by the singing of the National Anthem by all teachers and staff present in the school.

The program was hosted by Ms Siddeshwari Rana who invited Mr Hemant Dabral to deliver a speech on 75 years of Independence.

The Managing Director Dr Kunal Shamshere Malla evoked a sense of patriotism amongst the audience through his inspirational speech. The teachers of Olympus High presented a beautiful dance performance on the song ‘Aye watan merey abaad rehey tu’ followed by a patriotic song sung by our talented teachers. The lyrics of the song were mesmerizing ‘Jag main Bharat desh humara hain prano sey pyaara’. This song is

written by the Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and music for the same is given by the music teacher of Olympus High, Mr Kishley Shah.

The highlight of the program was a song sung by the Managing Director Dr Kunal Shamshere Malla which filled the atmosphere with colours of patriotism.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal Olympus High Dr Anuradha Pundeer Malla whose golden words always encourage everyone in school.
