“Janmashtami was Celebrated at Olympus High”

To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated at Olympus High on 24th August. This day signifies excitement, euphoria, and a joyous spirit of enthrallment. It brought devotion, creativity, enjoyment and fun all together. Ms. Smitha Menon the middle school coordinator coordinated the event. All the students participated with enthusiasm. The students of class VI showed their creativity by making pictures of Bansuri, shapes of peacocks and head gears through the activity of paper craft. Students of class VII made impressive rangolis which were very beautiful to look at, Students of class VIII did a pot decoration activity where they showcased their talent at their best. Students of class IX made eye-catching collages on the topics of Bhagavad Gita and Janmashtami. A special assembly was also being conducted by the students of class XI and XII wherein the girls of these two classes performed a captivating dance to the song,”Gokul Rey”. At last, the program concluded with a much-awaited performance by the Managing Director Sir Dr Kunal Shamshere Malla wherein he sang a melodious song “O Palan Harey”. It was a day filled with fun and creativity for all.
